Recreation and Combo Membership

 Combo Memberships are at capacity for the year.

Abbey Springs Fitness Center, remodeled in 2019, offers you and your family a  facility to meet your fitness goals along with having fun.  We provide an indoor and outdoor pool and you can’t go wrong with the benefits of water!  Our 2-tiered fitness area has cardio and weight lifting equipment to keep you in shape or get you into the shape you have always wanted.  From May through October, our Tennis Professionals on staff, offer beginners, intermediate and advanced players lessons and drills to accommodate your game.  Our water aerobics classes also offer you a great cardio work out that is easy on the body

When you decide to join or renew, you can mail in your application or drop it off at the Main Office and we will process your member cards and car decals for pick up at the Guard House. Let Abbey Springs be a part of a fitness program that will have you achieving your fitness and health goals in a relaxed country club setting exclusively found at Abbey Springs.

Membership Information

All Memberships Run January 1 - December 31.

Additional Family Member: $564/year or $47/month



*Note: We do not offer monthly memberships, only the ability to pay monthly. This can be through our direct pay system, where money is withdrawn from your checking or savings account on a monthly basis (the first month’s membership fees are due upon submission of application). Family Memberships are open to family and children up to 4 members.  Additional family members are $420 per person. Primary member must be 18 years or older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you decide to cancel your membership, you must do so in writing 30 days in advance and only after 5 months of membership. There will be a $100 cancellation fee. There will also be a $50 fee for each car decal that is not returned. If you cancel your membership, you cannot renew within the same calendar year.

MEMBERSHIP EXCLUSIONS 
Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Holiday & Labor Day Weekend are blackout weekends for Recreation Members.  Recreation Members must leave the facilities before 10:00am on the weekends from Memorial Day-Labor Day, in addition to black out times. Membership does not include access to other areas of Abbey Springs, including and not limited to beach/picnic areas, Below Deck or using Abbey Springs property as a walking path.

GUEST POLICY
Recreation Members are allowed a guest(s) at a charge of $20.00 per day per guest and must be paid to the Main Office before bringing the guests in. Each guest must be accompanied by the Member. If you are bringing multiple guests, you need to make arrangements with Todd at 262-275-6113 ext. 220 at least 3 days in advance.

CAR DECAL POLICY
I understand that a maximum of one decal for Individual Memberships, two decals for Couple or up to 3 decals for Family Memberships will be issued. There is a $50 fee for lost decals that need to be replaced. If you need to exchange a damaged decal, there is a $10 exchange fee. Decals will not be sent through the mail, and I understand that it is my responsibility to pick my decals up at the main guardhouse. Decals must be affixed to the lower portion on the drivers side windshield.

PAYMENT POLICY
All electronic fund transfers are done on the 25th of each month.  There is a $25 charge for fund transfers that are denied.  Members are responsible for keeping all payment information current.  Late fees will be assessed if payments are not received by the end of the month.
 

Recreation Center Offerings

Fitness Center

Abbey Springs is newly equipped with Life Fitness redesigned Insignia Series circuit style exercise machines allowing for a complete and efficient full body workout. Also, our renovated center includes a wider range of Life Fitness cardiovascular machines beyond just the standard treadmills and ellipticals. Our now spacious strength training room, outfitted with industry leading professional quality Life Fitness equipment, has been designed with the intent to meet all your personal workout demands. For more information on our offerings see below membership information. A new addition to our offerings is Life Fitness Synergy 360 training system with advanced TRX workout capabilities. We can now offer you HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) options which will guarantee this highly adaptable system will inspire and challenge your workouts.

Aquatic Center

Our club’s aquatic center consists of an indoor five lane lap pool, indoor six person whirlpool, outdoor oasis style pool, and an outdoor children’s zero-depth splash zone. Between the four pools, they can provide limitless usage possibilities  from the casual swimmer to the advanced.

Year round, we offer instructor led water aerobics classes a minimum of four times weekly. Learn to tone and sculpt your body safely with the water’s low impact properties. The water aerobics program is designed with a blend of cardiovascular and resistance training using class tools such as buoyant water weights and deep water buoyancy noodles.

Tennis

From May through September, our four Har-tru tennis courts are staffed by tennis professionals offering all level players personal lessons and scheduled group drills to enhance your gameplay. The Har-tru court material plays similar to traditional clay which makes them very forgiving on the joints, muscles, and tendons. The courts are scheduled for conditioning and grooming twice daily ensuring they are always ready for professional or recreational play alike. Pickle ball is growing in popularity nationwide and Abbey Springs is happy to offer three courts for game and match play.

Yoga

During our summer season all level yoga classes are offered several times weekly. Basic, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen, and promote flexibility. When weather permits, classes meet on the Abbey Springs lakefront for the perfect backdrop to align your mind, body, and spirit. When the weather does not permit, our 800 sq ft studio is a great substitute.
